Weekend Wrap-up: Mills Means More.

A few weeks ago I was contacted by Katy Mills to attend a blogger reception. It had literally been years  since I ventured out to Katy, Texas! I used to love Katy Mills as a kid and stopped going when I was like 15ish. It's kind of far from where I live but I decided to check it out and see how or if the mall had changed any. LONG STORY SHORT, IT HAS.

The event started off at Neiman Marcus last call where we were introduced to this seasons latest trends. Not to mention breakfast with mimosas.

This season look forward to: 

Colors.//50 Shades of Blue// 25 Shades of Green// Fancy Pants// Leather Leather Everywhere// Fur-Ever and Ever// Chunky Monkey (chunky knits I love this trend!)//  Horse Play (equestrian style) // Jackets. OH, My favorite piece ever was the Givenchy Tarot scarf, I'm so obsessed.

 We also took a tour of the "Fashion District." Our first stop was Ralph Lauren, then our tour continued with Saks off the 5th, Kenneth Cole, and Cole Han.

Shasie of Live Life In Style and I walked the ENTIRE Mall. I drove an hour to get there, I was damn sure gonna walk the whole thing (yes, its Huge)!
It was fun and this is my favorite purchase, MY NEW MARC JACOBS WATCH!
Ahh, Le Marc. And to think I really just wanted a brown watch, I walked out with another white one... But its my "casual" watch.


Katy Mills really has a ton of great deals! That watch was 40% off at Saks off the 5th. I almost bought a raincoat at the Burlington there but the line was longer than my patience. The Neiman's there also has 55-75% off original prices on most of their items. (That includes Louboutin, DVF, and Chanel. ) I want to try to go back in Novemeber-ish again! They will be adding an Abercrombie outlet which includes not only Abercrombie and AF Kids, but Gilly Hicks and Hollister too. I'm there for the Gilly Hicks bras and hoodies. AF makes some comfy hoodies.
