I attended day two of Fashion Houston and I must say it was quite the experience! The schedule for the night included David Peck, Fotini, Bogosse, and the am-ah-zing ZAC POSEN. I am splitting it into two posts, The designers and then all of my behind the scenes antics! Haha.
The night started off with David Peck. His line Crop showcased great colors, geometric lines and interesting fabrics. All of the prints were of intricate maps, rainbow colored koi fish and watercolor flowers. I loved the aesthetic.Very whimsical and I love how Houston claims David Peck as a native. I'll take it. He's great!

They threw printed flowers during the final walk |
Fotini followed with an ultra feminine and sophisticated show. Fotini showed very pastel and muted colors but was instantly classic. Each look screamed "LUXE." Not to mention, the tailoring on the garments was impeccable the pants and jackets were very on point. It was great to see some loose draped dresses as well, the line has great diversity.
Of course, we had to have some menswear. The Bogosse men, Patrick & Fabrice Tardieu showed Houston how to dress well. Houston men anyway. I
love how a lot of the line featured various textures, mixed colors and prints. My favorite look is top right, the leather jacket and gloves. CAN YOU SAY AMAZE?

The Bogosse men, Patrick and
Fabrice Tardieu; Very Dapper to say the least. |
And the Moment I died over, ZAC POSEN. Everything was on another level. The garment construction was very intricate and architectural. I feel like my pictures don't do it justice. The entire production was ethereal. The music itself was also more sublime, and the models walked slower and paced. SO MUCH LIFE WAS GIVEN.
