DIVERGENT: GO SEE IT.

We saw Divergent on Friday and lets just say I have a little bit of an obsession. Thank God it is a part of a trilogy. The next two in the trilogy are Insurgent and Allegiant and yes, I can not wait to see them as well. The movie was a little long but the character development was really good and of course I had to pay attention to the costume design and make-up. Can I say that I am in love with Shailene Woodley's no make-up makeup look? And I like how Dauntless wears all black... because I always wear all black. Lol.

So being the nerd I am (I'm going to San Diego Comic-con for heavens sake) I have a penchant for sci-fi or anything with a distopian society are pretty much the key words to get me interested.  Quick back story from wikipedia: This story takes place in post-apocalyptic future in the city of Chicago. Survivors in the city have been divided into 5 factions based on their predispositions: Abnegation, for the selfless; Amity, for the peaceful; Candor, for the honest; Dauntless, for the brave; and Erudite, for the Intelligent. Each year, all sixteen-year-olds take an aptitude test that will tell them for which faction they are best suited. After receiving the results of their test, they must decide whether to remain with their family or transfer to a new faction.
I've been spending the past few days trying to determine what faction I would be in. If you think you are a mix of a few, you would be DIVERGENT. See what they did there? The story gets deeper I just suggest you go watch it!
