HOUSE OF HOUGH | Holiday Hosting, Worth Posting.

About two weeks ago I joined area influencers and the amazing ladies at House of Hough for a fun Brunch. House of Hough has been covered here before, they are formerly Over The Top Linen! I met them at the Bridal Extravaganza and they are spot on with style and trends. With the holidays upon us, I'm thinking a lot about fun ways to entertain for upcoming celebrations.

I can't wait to host cute parties of my own. This one started with a bell you ring for champagne and amazing crepes, lattes, and mimosas.  We even learned how to make tablescapes for any party. I love the way they mix colors, prints and textures. I am a sucker for texture. Even this table cloth for this event had a little bit of a shimmer and heavy weight. Lots of little details really make an event special!

HOLIDAY HOSTING DONE RIGHT

Pick a Color Scheme: It will help you when buying all of your decorations, its fun to mix solids with prints, don't be afraid to mix it up!

Make a Signature Drink: Its a nice ice breaker to offer to new faces and is a special way for people to remember your event.

Make lists: It is so easy to forget the little things, checklists will keep you in order.

Keep the end goal in mind: The point of any event is to share a good time and making memories with those important to you! Don't let holiday stress cloud the end goal!

We even got cute gift boxes at the end of the event. Over the Top linen knows how to throw a bash, these girls are amazing.
