I was lucky enough to qualify for the Influenster Super Stay Matte Ink Maybelline Lipstick box. I did get these lip colors for free but girl, my opinions are my own. This lip color lasts 16 hours. I have only worn it for about 12 hours straight in my normal life because what is anyone doing for 16 hours straight that needs lip color to remain fleeky?
I know it's the 4th of July, so I wanted to wear a cute red.... But this red is named pioneer and that's kinda shady. Regardless, this color is the perfect red! Maybelline offers 10 shades of super pigmented 16 hr matte colors. In my experience they are not drying and really do stay pigmented all day. Its actually really annoying to try to get off. I use Neutrogena wipes to remove makeup if I happen to be wearing anything and I will say it does not like to budge! Olive oil does the trick with less scrubbing, it really is a stubborn formula.
You apply this color and allow it to dry for 3 minutes. It doesn't really transfer but within the first hour it will transfer minimal amounts. By the afternoon you are pretty solid when it comes to staying power.
I also received the color Lovely which is a perfect every day color. I can't wait to go to target and pick up a couple of the nude shades. I can't resist a good lip color so I am glad I got the chance to check these out.
Have a happy 4th of July, I'm just happy to have a day off and unwind in this amazing PNW weather.
