Five ingredients.
Some people file this as dessert hummus, which is fair because the main ingredient is Garbanzo beans. I was looking for alternatives to fill my sweet tooth and I decided to give this a try. The game has forever been changed. This is what you need:
1 Can Garbanzo Beans
1/2 Cup of Peanut Butter (I use PB2 because I prefer it to any nut butter but you can use any nut)
2 tbsp Maple or Honey
1 tsp of Vanilla
1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips
Major key here, to help the texture and taste RINSE your garbanzo beans. Roll them with paper towels and peel the thin casing off of all of them. It's not difficult to do but definitely makes a difference.
To make, food process everything but the chocolate. At the end fold in the chocolate chips!
IT'S THAT EASY.
